THE VIPERS v THE BLAZE


After playing a ‘behind closed doors’ inter-squad game in May 2021, the Southern Vipers return to play The Blaze (Trent Bridge) on Tuesday 11th July 2023 in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint 50 over Trophy.

 

Gates open at 9.30am with play commencing at 10.30 and tickets are available via the AGEAS BOWL website; adults £7 and Under 17’s £3. Tickets will be available on the gate at £10 and £5 respectively with parking on the car park field £5.

 

The Pavilion will be open for drinks and refreshments - plus there will be (i) BBQ’s provided by the Isle of Wight’s two Rosetted Seaview Hotel; (ii) and ice cream from Calbourne Classics.

 

600 temporary seats are being provided but to guarantee a seat we suggest you bring a festival type chair.

 

If you would like to watch the cricket in style, we are offering hospitality packages, for £60 (including VAT) provided by the Seaview Hotel.

Entrance will be either through the main gates to Newclose on the A3020 (a mile outside Newport) or from the Newport to Sandown cycle track, walking back to the main car park.

 

Southern Vectis routes 2 and 3 pass by - with a Newclose bus stop immediately outside the ground.

 

Newclose is Disability Discrimination Act compliant; dogs on leads will also be welcome.
